Session 3: RCV Case Studies and Future Successes
Leading experts in the academic study of elections present in this session. Robert Montjoy, RCV Resource Center Advisory Board Member and Professor at the University of New Orleans, will present case studies to address why RCV has flourished in some locations, while not in others. Robert Joyce, Professor of Public Law and Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government, will look at the use of RCV in North Carolina. Doug Chapin, Director of Program for Excellence in Election Administration/Election Academy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota, will share his insights about what locations are on the horizon for RCV.
